I am a New York based artist influenced by my bold and vibrant Sicilian heritage. From Fellini films to the deep red sauces of my grandmother’s cooking, my art is a color-filled memory reflecting passionate expression. I have been an artist for 15 years. Within those years much of my inspiration to create has come from museums and galleries, in addition to established artists for whom I assisted.

My first series of abstract paintings were given a solo show in Los Angeles and sold out opening night. My paintings began selling consistently in Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, Washington DC, and Miami. Commissions for private collectors followed.

Upon fulfilling my dream to move back to New York, I began working in new mediums and am currently working on a constructive sculpting series - an exploration of women of the 21st Century. The series will depict sexuality, identity and power. My stand for these constructive sculptures is to blow up cultural standards of women that still exist and to depict the absurdity of how women are viewed. How can we be so admired and adored for our beauty yet be marginalized at the same time?

My creative process begins with an open heart and a quiet mind. I attempt to create from a vulnerable state: acceptance of the unknown. It is my intent that the viewer experiences the same freedom. My work is always an attempt to play in the impossible.
